In September 2006, Marfa Book Company’s gallery exhibited a survey of Pace's dream drawings and one dream-inspired sculpture.

"I get up and write my dream down. Not every dream has a great image, but when they do, I just draw them then and there," said Linda Pace to Wendy Atwell in a Glasstire interview. Many of Pace's "Dream Drawings" transitioned from the drawing board into large-scale sculptures. Her dreams also led her to the creation of Artpace and envisioning Ruby City. ⠀
